Federal Air Transport Agency proposes to resume international flights from July 15
The Federal Air Transport Agency plans to send proposals to Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer rights protection and human well-being) to launch an international flight service from July 15.
“A meeting was held yesterday at the Federal Air Transport Agency, during which it was decided to propose resuming international air traffic from a number of cities of the Russian Federation from July 15 to 15 countries. The Federal Air Transport Agency plans to send its proposals to Rospotrebnadzor. It is assumed that the list of countries, with which air service can be resumed, the Federal Air Transport Agency and Rospotrebnadzor will determine jointly,” the Agency’s representative said, adding that for business aviation it is planned to open flights to “almost all countries”.
The meeting was initiated in connection with the instruction of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin “on the restoration of air communication with foreign countries and the formation of a scenario of the development of the industry.” Representatives of the largest airlines attended the meeting.
