Early booking to Greece 2020 has started earlier than a year ago

Several tour operators in Russia noted the growth of interest to early booking to Greece. Thus Alexander Tsandekidi Mouzenidis Travel TO CEO reported about 700 persons booked for summer season 2020. And that is 20 times more than the same period of the last year. Each year more tourists are booking beforehand to avoid currency, hotel and flight cost changes. Dimitris Charitidis, Director of Destination of Greece of Tez Tour, said that company has started early booking action on 01.08.19 in comparisson to 01.11.18. The decision was based on the analysis of Baltic countries active bookings at this period of a year. But it is impossible to compare the results in Russia and the operator is not commenting them.

Ambotis Holidays has also started early booking a month earlier than a year ago, but it was only a week ago. The CEO of Ambotis Holidays Vitaly Stamatov said that Russians are changing the mentality and understand that it’s impossible to buy good accommodation by good price at the last moment. The tour operators mark that the early booking discount is up to 40-45% of the full price for hotel accommodation. Speaking about air ticket prices, the experts think they will be more expensive next summer because of air fuel price growth but not more than 5%.
