Demand in early booking for Montenegro rose by 50%
“The tour operators report about increase in early booking demand for tours to Montenegro by 40-50% against the last year's figures”, - said the press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Irina Tyurina. "The early booking of Montenegro have grown by 40-50%, but the representatives of the tourist business are still cautious about the situation and do not consider such a surge of interest as the trend of the season", - added I.Tyurina. According to her, the tourists are choosing, basically, four-star hotels and private apartments of good quality, many of which are already loaded. The most sales are for June, July and early August period. The Vice-president of "Paks" Maxim Lobanov noted, that the company increased by 30% the number of block places in Montenegrin hotels, but the decision was made following the results of the last year. It is impossible to significantly increase the volumes in Montenegrin hotels, as the number of rooms is quite limited, its shortage is lasted every summer". Besides, the overloaded Tivat airport brakes increasing the volumes of transportation. As reported, last summer Montenegro was one of the leading foreign destinations among the Russians.
