At the end of April, block programs of tour operators to Cyprus were launched on connecting flights of Jazeera Airways. Tourists fly from Moscow to Larnaca with a change in Kuwait.
Currently, tours to Cyprus on Jazeera Airways flights are offered by tour operators Fun&Sun, Tez Tour, Pac Group, Russian Express and Ambotis Holidays. In addition, tourists can fly to Cyprus via Yerevan, Dubai and even Cairo: such flight options can also be offered from tour operators.
According to the estimates of most experts, the demand for Cyprus in 2023 season is higher than expected. “Despite the flights with connections, number of bookings of Europe this year is a pleasant surprise. Tourists have already become accustomed to such logistics. Cyprus is no exception,” Pac Group notes.
As specialists of the tour operator Russian Express add, in May there were some “failures” in demand for Cyprus, related to the distrust of agents in the flight program. But, when everyone convinced that flights via Kuwait really started, the demand for the destination has increased significantly.
“Summer tours are more popular than May ones. Bookings are already available until September,” Russian Express commented.
“In general, the demand is higher than we planned, which is good news. Starting from May 10, demand has been steadily growing,” Ambotis Holidays also says. As per Tez Tour, departures in June on blocks of seats via Kuwait are already 80% closed.
According to Vedi Group experts, Cyprus may increase in demand in July-August and, of course, there should be more bookings in September. Cyprus is traditionally very popular during the autumn season.
Vedi Group emphasizes that Cyprus hoteliers stimulate the demand for the destination. They propose very profitable offers for certain dates.
