The market expects high demand for Cyprus

The tour operators Fun&Sun, Russian Express and Tez Tour have launched a block flight program from Moscow to Cyprus on regular Jazeera Airways flights with a connection in Kuwait. Flights on the Moscow-Kuwait-Larnaca route are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and flights on Mondays will be added from May 29 to two frequencies per week.

According to the general opinion of the tour operators, the emergence of new air routes to Cyprus this year has significantly increased interest for this destination compared to the 2022 season. Seats blocks on Jazeera Airways are already sold out at the start of the program.

As Russian Express reports, there are bookings for Cyprus for all the summer season, including September. Booking’s volume of Cyprus already exceeds the figures for the entire last year.

“Most tourists prefer 4-5* hotels. There are a lot of applications from families with children,” Russian Express emphasized. Similar trends are also observed in Ambotis Holidays: hotels of high categories mostly are booked, the duration of stays is 7-10 nights, the basic system is BB.

“The resorts of Ayia Napa, Protaras and Limassol are still popular,” Fun&Sun added.

According to experts, after the launch of flight programs, interest for holidays in this destination will increase after the start of active season - in late May and early June.
