Children's passports in Moscow will be issued within one day
From May 18, the Moscow children under the age of 14 can get a passport within one day, the press service of the Federal Migration Service reported.
The ministry said that the purpose of such action is "to help citizens to save time on preparation of documents before traditional summer vacation."
Earlier the head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky said in an interview to "Interfax" that they examine the question of whether to allow the Russians, if necessary, to have two international passports at the same time. "We are thinking about how to come up with such initiative," the head of the Federal Migration Service said at the end of April.
