Charter flights to Turkey are opened from St. Petersburg
Flights to Turkey have been resumed from the St. Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport. Several airlines have announced their flight programs. There are direct flights to Antalya every day.
“Operation of flights to Antalya and Istanbul was confirmed by 5 air carriers,” the press service of Pulkovo Airport reported.
So, starting from June 22, Azur air, a partner of the tour operators Anex Tour and Intourist, has opened daily charter flights to Antalya. Charter flights to the main Turkish resort were also launched by Nordwind Airlines, with which the tour operator Pegas Touristik cooperates.
Also, Rossiya Airlines, together with the tour operator Biblio-Globus, has planned several flights a week to Antalya.
From June 23, Royal Flight airline together with the tour operators Coral Travel and Sunmar will join the charter program from Pulkovo to Antalya.
Turkish Airlines and Nordwind Airlines plan to resume regular flights to Istanbul from July 1.
At present, air carriers are actively arrange flight schedules on the Turkish destination, so the exact number of flights will become known in the near future.
Before the pandemic (seasons 2018-2019), direct flights from Pulkovo to Turkey (Antalya, Istanbul, Alanya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Izmir) were operated by 12 airlines, the passenger traffic on the destination was close to a million people.
