Bulgaria has updated the entry conditions for Russians
It has become easier for Russian tourists to enter Bulgaria. The requirement for a mandatory PCR test for tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V has been canceled.
The Bulgarian government has updated the entry conditions for international travelers. Russia is still in the orange group of countries, however, additional sanitary control measures for citizens of the Russian Federation have been canceled since July 29, 2021.
From July 29 to August 31, 2021, Russian tourists will need one of the following documents to enter Bulgaria:
- certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 in English, with data from passport (Sputnik V is in the list of vaccines recognized by Bulgaria, at least 14 days must pass from the moment of the full course of immunization);
- certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus, made in English no earlier than 72 hours before entering the country;
- certificate with the result of an express test for antigens, made 48 hours before entering Bulgaria;
- certificate of the coronavirus infection in English (no more than 180 days should pass from the moment of recovery).
Children under 12 do not need a COVID-19 test certificate to enter Bulgaria.
