Belgium in the list of the most popular tourist destinations among Russians is in the TOP-30. In 2015 there were 72 894 thousand tourists from Russia. And this is only 2% more than in 2014, which indicates that the direction is stable, but it attracts mainly independent tourists.

Organized tourists visit Belgium on trips along Benelux countries (Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium) or as a part of bus tours in Europe, which include 1-2 days in Belgium or during a 6 - 7 days tour (combined with Holland).

First of all Russians visit Brussels and many tour operators book hotels there. After Brussels they go to Antwerp, then Bruges. In Antwerp there is a very broad Russian diaspora, so many tourists go there to visit relatives and friends.

The most popular tours are sightseeing trips. People who come to Belgium on individual programs choose event, gastronomic tours or shopping.

Most Russians prefer 4-5-stars hotels, they are people with medium or higher incomes. The average cost of purchases comes up to 550 Euros (clothes, shoes, jewelry).
