ATOR: on November holidays tourists choose Russia, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel and Southeast Asia
“Russia, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel and countries of Southeast Asia have become the leaders among the travel destinations of Russians on November holidays”, - said the representative of Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Monday with reference to the data of tour operators.
"According to the market participants, the overall demand for the November date is slightly higher than last year. A stable exchange rate and the early cold weather favour this situation. The greatest demand is observed in the beach holiday destinations. The average cost of tours, compared to last year, remained unchanged, but the booking pattern to some regions has increased a little", - noted in the ATOR.
Turkey has become one of the favorite destinations for the November date. Coral Travel tour operator proposes one of the large scale flight programs. Especially for a short vacation - until November 11 - "NTK Intourist” has extended its program".
The leaders in the list of beach holiday destinations are Cyprus, UAE, South-East Asia. Popularity of Cyprus is explained by the long beach season, reasonable prices and short flight.
The market participants note an increased demand to Israel. “TUI Russia" accounts about 27% of all tour reservations for the November holidays to this country.
"Also the tour operators noted the stable demand for long destinations. So, on the first place are Sri Lanka, Cuba, Mexico, Jordan, Maldives, Indonesia, China. Among European destinations a traditionally high demand is noted for tours to Italy, Czech Republic and France, including the children's group ", - reported in the ATOR.
In “BSI Group” the most popular destinations for the period of November holidays are Italy, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Slovenia and Austria.
