Aeroflot will return to the Maldives
Aeroflot Airlines has returned direct flights to the Maldives to its schedule. Moscow-Malé flights SU 0320 have been announced daily since May 13. The flights are planned to be operated by Airbus A-330. The return flight SU 0321 is scheduled for May 14.
The cost of tickets for direct flights to Male is currently unknown - they are not yet in the sales system, and in April tourists can fly to Male via Colombo. The Colombo-Male flight is operated by SriLankian Airlines. The price of such one-way flight starts from 722 Euros.
Sales of tours to the Maldives are recovering confidently and brightly - the destination has again become in demand among wealthy Russians. Travel market experts suggest that the opening of direct flights will significantly increase the demand for tours to this resort and suggest that their cost will become lower.
There is also information (it has not yet been 100% confirmed) that this spring Aeroflot (or Rossiya airline, a member of its group) may resume flights to Indonesia - the island of Bali.
