28-th Edition of Otdykh Leisure Expo in September 2022 in Moscow
The OTDYKH Leisure Expo will be hosting its 28th edition later this year. The expo will be held from the 13th to the 15th of September, at the EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds in Moscow. Last year the expo featured an impressive 450 companies from 41 Russian regions and 23 different countries. Over 10,000 people took part, both in person and online. This year, even greater participation is expected from international exhibitors. Among those who have already confirmed are China, Cuba, Bulgaria, Spain, Thailand and Cyprus.
This year at least 40 Russian regions will be participating in the fair including an exciting newcomer, the Chuvash Republic. Located in the Volga Upland, the region is full of natural beauty, with over 2,000 rivers and 400 lakes. The capital city of Cheboksary is home to the Public Order Russian Drama Theatre, a philharmonic orchestra and numerous other theatres.
One of the highlights of the 2022 exhibit will be the bespoke B2B networking event where participants will be able to meet with leading Russian tour operators and media outlets. This is a prime opportunity to forge new and meaningful professional relationships with the best of the Russian travel industry.
According to the World Travel Organization, following a reduction in international travel in 2021 due to the pandemic, most experts predict a rebound for the travel industry in 2022. This is partly due to many consumers having had to postpone or cancel travel plans from last year, as well as a pent-up need to return to international travel as soon as restrictions are lifted.
These positive predictions reinforce the significance of an event such as the OTDYKH expo, where top industry professionals can network and get ahead of the curve on the latest travel trends.
Early bird registration is now open for the 28th edition of the OTDYKH Travel Expo, with remote and in-person participation packages on offer.
The OTDYKH Leisure Fair will take place on 13th – 15th September 2022, at the Expocentre in Moscow, Russia.
