“Sochi” airport has improved the forecast of growth of passenger’s flow in 2016 by 22%.

"Sochi" international airport plans to serve more than 5 million passengers in 2016 - reported the press-service of "Basel Aero" company, which manages by all airports in Krasnodar Region. As it was informed, following the results of 2015 the passenger’s traffic reached 4.088 million people. Thus, this figure is expected to be increased by 22%. Earlier, according to the annual report, there were plans to increase the passenger’s traffic in 2016 by 10% at least. For the period of 8 months of 2016 Sochi airport served about 3.8 million passengers, which is 32% more than the same period of the last year. At the same time, more than 3.7 million passengers were transported on the domestic routes (up 35%), on the international ones - more than 82 thousand people (36% reduction). During this period the most popular destinations on domestic routes were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan.
