“Onur Air” airline will launch regular flights from Istanbul to Chelyabinsk in spring season
“International airport "Chelyabinsk" has accorded a regular flights program Istanbul - Chelyabinsk with the low cost Turkish “Onur Air”, which will be performed from April 30 till the end of October this year”, - reported the Commercial director of "Chelyabinsk Airlines" Ksenia Agafonova. According to her, the airline suggests to extend the summer program and to fly from Istanbul to Chelyabinsk and back all the year round. In addition, the airport is considering the cooperation program with another Turkish airline. As the Head of international sales department of “Onur Air” Elmira Tulunay said, the regular flights to Chelyabinsk will be performed by A320 aircraft three times a week: on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday the airplanes will arrive from Istanbul and on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, respectively, depart from Chelyabinsk. According E.Tulunay, the company develops the Russian direction in relation to the reduction of the passenger traffic from Europe. In particular, currently the flights of “Onur Air” from Istanbul are performed or accorded to perform to Grozny, Nalchik, Volgograd, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk and Moscow (airport "Zhukovsky"). In addition, the company performs flights from Antalya to Moscow, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, as well as to Kaliningrad, Perm, Samara.
