"Yakutia" airline has launched flights from Vladivostok to the South Korean Cheongju
“Yakutia” airline started regular flights from Vladivostok to Cheongju (South Korea)”, - the press service of the Russian airport reported. The flights are carried out weekly on Saturdays by Sukhoi Superjet 100, flight time is 2 hours. "In the summer season, 4 - 6 flights are performed daily from Vladivostok to South Korea. In addition, a number of airlines are planning new flights this year. The need for the new flights is explained by increasing of the incoming tourist flow from the Republic of Korea, and by restoration of the demand for abroad trips among the population of Primorsky Territory. Also, the regime of "open sky" positively affects on tourist flow between Vladivostok and the Korean airports", - said the Director for Aviation commerce of Vladivostok airport Alexander Bobrov. In 2016, passenger traffic from Vladivostok airport to South Korea has grown by 18% against 2015.
