At the same time, about 59.6% of tourists choose 3* hotels in Thailand, 31.6% - 4*, 7% choose 5* hotels and 1.8% - 2*. According to Biblio-Globus, Phuket is the leader in the list of the most demanded resorts in Thailand in upcoming season. It accounts for about 60% of sales of tours the country for the winter season. Next in popularity are the following resorts - Pattaya, Khao Lak, Krabi and Samui. The “rising star” of this year is the resort of Khao Lak, located on the mainland coast of southern Thailand. The resort is predominantly European, there are many families with children and elderly couples from Europe, the service is also European. According to Biblio-Globus, the demand for tours to Khao Lak in Russia has currently grown 2.5 times against the last year. “The resort has great opportunities for active recreation. Hotels of level 3 - 4* are mostly presented at Khao Lak resort. The transfer is carried out from Phuket airport", - explained Biblio-Globus. The current early booking demand for tours to this country is stable and tends to further growth. And the expansion of the geography of tours to Thailand among Russians and the interest to the new resorts say that the potential for such growth is far from being exhausted.
