What ski resorts in Europe do tourists choose this winter?

Tour operators PAC GROUP and TUI called the countries - the leaders in early booking ski tours for the New Year. Both companies have shown in the top Italy and the Val di Fassa resort. It is noteworthy that the figures of sales of this destination have increased by 40% at TUI compared to last year. Almost 2 times more requests are observed for the resorts of Andorra and Bulgaria. PAC GROUP reports that France (Three Valleys) is on the second position and Austria is on the third one. The cumulative increase of early booking of ski tours this year was 15%. At the same time, observers note that the early booking this year was unstable and the company's peak figures are later than usual. “The start was confident - there were already active sales at the end of June - July, but then, due to the jump in currencies, there was a decrease. And instead of the end of September the demand stabilized only by the beginning of November,” said the CEO of JET Travel, Maxim Pristavko. According to the expert, the average price for the Alps has also decreased: for New Year's dates - tours for 800 € instead of 1000–1300 are in demand. Accordingly, budget resorts and hotels are in the greatest demand. It can be assumed that the growth is observed in those companies which launched charters and hold blocks of seats on regular flights on special fares. Probably, those tourists who in recent years have preferred to organize a trip to the ski resort independently, now, after comparing prices, are coming to travel agencies.
