Ulyukayev: the complete abolition of the visa regime between Russia and Turkey is doubtful
“Russia may consider the cancelation of visas for business travel from Turkey, but the complete abolition of the visa regime is doubtful due to security reasons”, - said the Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev on Sunday. "The question of visa-free exchange in general is very difficult, because it concerns the security issues, related to the latest terrorist attacks (in Turkey). We do not want to export the risks to our territory", - the minister said, commenting on the request to cancel visa between two countries. "The only thing that can be seriously discussed - is a visa-free business travels. This is also a difficult question, but we are ready to work", - said A. Ulyukaev. After the opening of charter transportation to Turkey the Russian tour operators noted the high loading of the first flights and the record sales terms. In some regions the tour operators had to launch extra flights and extend the terms of the flight program.
