Turkish Airlines will stop flights from Astrakhan to Turkey in March due to unprofitability
“Turkish Airlines will stop flights to Istanbul from Astrakhan since March 25”, said in the company. The airport of Astrakhan does not comment the situation. Turkish Airlines carries out the regular flights from Istanbul to Astrakhan since March 31, 2014. In Russia, Turkish Airlines route’s network includes Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Astrakhan, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa and Kazan. Currently, the airline performs 46 flights per week to Istanbul, as well as two weekly flights to Ankara and Antalya.
