Tourist flow from Russia to Turkey has grown almost six times for 10 months of 2017

“About 4.6 million Russians visited Turkey in January-October this year, which is almost six times more than during the same period of the last year, when the country was visited by about 766, 9 thousand Russians”, - follows from statistics published on the site of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Turkey. Russia is on the first line among the visitors of Turkey in January-October 2017 (almost 16%). In October about 443 thousand Russians came to the country, which is almost twice as much as during the same period in 2016 (222,800 Russians). The number of foreign tourists in Turkey for 10 months of this year was about 29 million people (for the same period of the last year their number was 22.7 million people). Except Russia the TOP 5 countries (for January-October, 2017) includes Germany (3.3 million), Iran (2.1 million), Georgia (2 million) and Great Britain (1.6 million). About 3 million guests visited Turkey in October, for the same period of 2016 their number was about 2.5 million. After Russia are the following countries - Germany (412,900), Iran (222,400), Georgia (212,800) and Britain (178,000).
