Tour operators called the demand for resorts of Turkey from Russians in 2018 as unprecedente

“The tour operators note a multifold increase of demand of Russian tourists for Turkey's resorts in comparison with 2017”, - reported the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Monday. "The demand for Turkey in the summer season of 2018 is very high, and in Moscow, and in St. Petersburg, and in cities such as Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Rostov, Samara, Krasnodar", - stressed the representative of NTK Intourist tour operator. The representative of the tour operator told about the increase of the number of bookings for Turkey by 150% against the same period of 2017. In Coral Travel the number of bookings of Turkey increased by 141% and in Sunmar tour operator - by 192% in comparison with the last year. The same multiple growth of early bookings of Turkey's resorts is noted in Anex Tour operator too. In the opinion of tour operators such an agitated demand is connected with earlier opening of the booking program for the summer-2018 and with significant discounts at the stage of early sales (up to 50%) from Turkish hotels. According to tour operators, Russians often choose the resorts at the Antalya coast of Turkey, but the rest at the Aegean coast against the last year indicators has become more popular. The most popular resorts at the Antalya coast are Alanya, Kemer, Belek and Side. At Aegean - Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye and Sarigerme.
