Tour operators are waiting for the recovery of tourist flow to Turkey and Egypt up to 60% - 70% in 2017
“Tour operators expect a recovery of tourist flow to Turkey up to 60% and Egypt 70%, in comparison with pre-crisis level”, - according to the analysis, published by the analytical center of the Moscow Domodedovo airport.
Analytics of the center have conducted an opinion poll, in which tour operators, airport operators, Russian and foreign airlines took part.
"The air carriers noted the high probability of recovery of passenger traffic to Turkey and Egypt (under the condition of the resumption of air links) up to 90% and 85% respectively to the pre-crisis level in 2014. In the same time, the tour operators are more cautious in their estimates - 60% and 70% relatively to the pre-crisis level", - says the analysis.
Turkey and Egypt are often called by experts as the most popular international destinations in 2017. In addition, the Russian airlines and tour operators noted Spain, Bulgaria and Greece as popular destinations too.
