Tour operators are interested in the new flight program to Sardinia

S7 Airlines announced the opening of regular flights to Sardinia. The carrier will perform flights from Domodedovo airport to Olbia and Cagliari since June 2 and 3, 2018 respectively. Departures from Moscow will be carried out by Airbus A320. Tour operators are already interested in the flight program. "We booked blocks of seats on all five S7 Airlines flights to Sardinia. Two of them will be performed to Cagliari and three to Olbia. We do not doubt, the demand for such product will be high", - told PAC GROUP representative. Such confidence is due to the fact that direct regular flights to Sardinia, which could interest tour operators, were not available in the summer 2017. Last year only low-cost Meridiana airline performed flights to the resort, which, according to providers of travel services, had uncomfortable slots (departure from Moscow on Saturday, return on Friday with a night arrival). So, the main flow of Russian tourists came to Sardinia by charter flights to Cagliari airport. The rest in Sardinia is in demand, first of all, for tourists with above-average income level, for which comfort is very important. So, as suppliers of travel services have noted, the presence of regular high-quality transportation with a business class and broad variability of flights is a good incentive for the development of the direction. The carrier's air tickets for June 2018 have already appeared in open sale. Prices for June 30 start from 18 thousand Rubles (261 EUR) for round-trip flight, in business class - from 90 thousand Rubles (1304 EUR).
