The volume of New Year charter transportation increased by 20% against the last year

“The volume of New Year's charter programs of tour operators grew by 20% in comparison with the last year”, - said the Adviser of the Head of Rosturizm Dmitry Gorin. "For New Year's holidays, airlines made 586 applications for international tourist charter flights, of which 292 flights have already been approved by Rosaviatsiya. At least 2,000 flights have been approved earlier. More than 370 charter flights are expected from Moscow airports. For the period from December 15 till January 15 the volume of New Year's charter programs will grow by 20% at least”, - he said in an interview with electronic newspaper of the Russian Union of Travel Industry RATA-news. According to the expert, this year international charters are planned to 17 countries: China, Italy, Spain, Israel, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Austria, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Cuba and Dominican Republic.
