The Russian tourist flow to Spain increased by 1% for the first nine months

“In January-September 2016 Spain was visited by 842.6 thousand Russian tourists, which is 1.2% more than in the same period of the last year”, - reported the National Statistics Institute (NSI) of the country. In September, the number of Russian tourists increased by 1.6% and amounted 129.9 thousand people. Totally, for the first nine months of 2016 Spain was visited by 60.346 million of foreign tourists, which is 10.1% more than in January-September of the last year. According to NSI data, in 2015 the number of Russian tourists visited Spain declined by 41% and amounted 580.8 thousand.
