According to Agustini Rahay the Director of cooperation with the countries of Europe of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesian Statistics, for the first 6 months of 2018 the Russian tourist flow to Indonesia increased by 10% against the same period of the last year, reaching 68.8 thousand people. Recall that in 2017 Indonesia was visited by 110,529 Russians - 37.28% more than in 2016. Indonesian experts have talked about the excessive concentration of tourist traffic from Russia at the resorts of the island of Bali. It is most popular among other foreign tourists in Indonesia: according to the Ministry of Tourism of the country, the number of foreign arrivals there in the high season of 2017 was more than 60%. As for the Russians in 2017 94,898 tourists came to Bali from Russia - 85.6% of all Russians who arrived in Indonesia. According to Oksana Minina the Head of the Marketing Department of the Avia Center Group, over 81% of tickets purchased by our compatriots were for Bali.
