The new Cyprus airline received the first airplane

"Cyprus Airways” has received the first aircraft for its air fleet. Airbus A-319 in the colors of the new airline landed at the airport of Larnaca on December 1, 2016. It is expected that the carrier will get the Air Operator Certificate until the end of this year. At the same time the routes network will be presented and the flight’s ticket will come in the market. "Cyprus Airways" is a trademark of created Cypriot airline company. In July the company "Charlie Airlines” (one of the shareholders is Russia's “S7 Group”) won a tender for the right to use the brand for ten years. The airline company will base at Larnaca airport and perform flights to the countries of Europe and Middle East.
