The growth of interest of Russians to Japan is connected, in particular, with the fact that from January 1, 2017 Russia and Japan mutually simplified visa regime. Also the simplification of visa regime has led to an increase of the flow of tourists from Japan to Russia. In particular, in the first half of the year it increased by 2.4 times only in Primorskiy Region.
