The flow of Russian tourists to Czech Republic increased by 50% in the first half of the year
“The total tourist flow to Czech Republic increased by 13% in the first half of 2017 in comparison with the same period of 2016”, - said Roman Prokazka, Director of the National Tourist Board of Czech Republic for the regions of Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. He noted that tourists from China are on the first line in the list of incoming tourists. Their number increased by 56% against the last year. The Russian tourists are on the second line (+51%). South Korea is on the third place with +39%. According to R. Prokazka, Russian tourists stay at average six nights in Prague. "This is the first place among all tourists, on the average it's 3.5 nights for everyone. For example, Chinese spend 1-2 nights maximum in Czech Republic", - he said.
