The dynamic of early booking of Greece is better than in the last year

The number of early booking of tours to Greece exceeds the figures of the previous year - tourists are increasingly inclined to book a holiday in advance. Moreover, in 2018 the tours to Greece may be by 10% more expensive. As the early booking’s data show, in the summer season-2018 Greece will continue to be one of the most popular destinations on the Russian market. As of the end of December, the volume of early booking sales to Greece exceeds the figures of previous year or at least corresponds to it. It is noted, that this year many tour operators started the early booking actions for Greece earlier than usual. Discounts reach 30% of the base price of hotels. The representatives of Muzenidis Travel tour operator reported that the number of tours to Greece, already booked in the cities of Russian Federation, increased by about 35-40% against the same indicators of the previous year. TUI Russia operator said that they note an increase of the number of early bookings in 2 times in comparison with the same period of the last year. "Now, in December, when discounts from hotels for early booking reach a maximum - we observe a 3-4-fold increase of sales against the same period of the last year," - informed in Russian Express.
