Tallink Silja became the world’s first Cruise Line to serve MSC certified seafood

All ships operating between Helsinki-Stockholm Silja Serenade and Silja Symphony; Turku- Stockholm Baltic Princess and Galaxy; Helsinki-Tallinn Silja Europa and Shuttles Star and Megastar now offer sustainable and traceable MSC certified shrimp and herring. The first MSC Chain of Custody certification of these cruise ships is a clear step forward in the sustainable seafood movement. So, Tallink Silja company continues idea of developing food and beverage concept on its ships. The first floating BURGER KING® restaurant on the Baltic Sea was opened on Tallink Shuttle Star in February 2016. The 2nd restaurant was opened on new Tallink Shuttle Megastar on the 29th of January, 2017. In Spring 2018 Tallink started selling Starbucks® drinks on board its vessels on the Tallinn-Helsinki route. Tallink Silja has own custom labelled special wines, which are available only on board Tallink Silja ships. Ship’s champagne, sparkling wine, red & white wine changes every two years.
