Sri Lanka hotels reduced prices for Russians

Tour operators note a recovery in demand for tours to Sri Lanka. The growth in sales is connected with the abolition of visa fees and the policy of island hoteliers: special offers’ discounts amount to 25-35% of last year level, sometimes reaching 50%. 
Anex Tour also says about high demand for tours to Sri Lanka: now the loading of New Year's charter flights from all departure cities is estimated at the level of 30-40%. Last season, the tour operator showed an excellent result in Sri Lanka, and in connection with this fact it was decided to expand own flight program this season. 
In the winter of 2019-2020, Anex Tour flies on the destination from the end of October 2019 to the end of April 2020. The flights from Moscow are operated 2 times a week (Wednesday and Saturday), from Yekaterinburg - once every 13 days, from St. Petersburg - once every 12 days. 
Tui Russia also notes the prospects for winter Sri Lanka. This season, for the first time, Tui entered this destination with its own charter program from Moscow on boards of iFly. The flights are scheduled from October 26 to April 27, 2020 once every 10 days. 
According to the experts of the tour operator Space Travel, the prices for Sri Lanka hotels fell by about 20%. As the representatives of the tour operator ICS Travel Group report, in general, the price dropped by 25% compared to the previous year. 
The experts of Russian Express informed, this season 99% of Sri Lanka hotels have revised their pricing policy. In annual terms, the difference in price reaches 35%. As an example, the Russian Express proposes a tour to one of the best 4* hotels with an excellent beach for the price started from 121 000 Rubles (1 693 Euros) for two persons for 7 nights, BB. In general, prices for tours to Sri Lanka now start from 66 000 Rubles (923 Euros) for two persons for 7 nights. 
Lower hotel prices have increased the demand for better accommodation facilities - hotels 4 and 5*, BB or HB.
