South Korean low cost carrier began flying from Seoul to Vladivostok
“South Korean budget airline Eastar Jet began to perform direct flights from Seoul to Vladivostok”, - reported the press service of Vladivostok airport. The first airplane landed at Vladivostok airport at 02:00 of local time on June 12. The flights on the route Vladivostok - Seoul are carried out by Boeing 737-800 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The report notes that with the appearance of a new carrier the number of departures from Vladivostok airport to various cities of South Korea exceeded 40 flights per week. South Korea is one of the most popular destinations among international ones from Vladivostok airport. Today five flights are performed daily from Vladivostok airport to Seoul. They are carried out by Russian (Aurora, S7) and Korean airlines (Korean Air and Jeju Air). "This season the new airline plans to increase the frequency of flights from Seoul and in addition will open the flight from another South Korean city – Pusan. On average, now seven flights are performed from Vladivostok to different airports in South Korea daily and during the summer season this number will increase up to 9 flights per day.
