Some hotels in Turkey stopped selling on European market in favor of Russian tourists

Representatives of the largest hotels in Turkey note the significant growth of the tourist flow from Russia and Europe. Many hotels have already stopped sales for Europeans to leave places for Russian tourists in the upcoming summer season. "We already stop-sale in our hotels for Europeans - we keep places for Russian tourists. This year the demand is very high, we expect a lot of tourists", - said the representative of the chain of Limak hotels and resorts at the conference in Antalya. Also the representative of Jacaranda Hotel confirmed an increase of the flow of tourists from Europe. "We already have stop-sale, the season will be very good this year, Russia was very active at the early booking stage - the market grew by 1.6-1.7 times in comparison with the last year", - he said. According to the Director of sales management of TUI tour operator Ali Mikailov, the demand for Turkey this year is higher than ever. "A couple of days ago we noted some tension in selling due to the recent fluctuations of Ruble exchange rate. People expected the clear picture.
