Russians began to choose more expensive hotels in Greece
“The Russians began to choose more expensive hotels in Greece, this season in the priority are the hotels 4-5-stars” – reported Anex Tour operator. "As in the past and this year from April to July Greece enjoys a stable demand on the Russian tourist market. The most popular resorts are Crete and Rhodes. It is interesting that this year 4-5-stars hotels have a priority among Russians", - stressed the tour operator. The company noted that in Crete the residents of Moscow and regions book high quality 4- and 5-stars hotels. The hotels of 1-3-stars category and apartments fell in demand and are not popular among tourists in comparison with the last year. "In Rhodes 4-stars hotels are booked less and less, the tourists prefer to book hotels of 5-stars category. Choosing a budget accommodation residents of Moscow more likely book 2-stars hotels instead of 1-stars ones”, - specified in Anex Tour. The average price for a tour to Crete for two persons with departures from Moscow and regions has slightly increased and now is about 500 Euros. For Rhodes the average price is 550 Euros, with departure from the regions you need to add another 200 Euros. The company also told about plans to add the range with tours by regular flights to Athens, as they note the interest of customers to the mainland Greece. In addition, the tours to Mykonos, Corfu and Santorini by regular flights will be added.
