Russian are on the third place in Istanbul

Daily Sabah informs that during the first five months of 2019 Istanbul city has got 5.4 mln tourists. And that is the biggest number for the last five years, Russian tourists are on the 3-d place according their number.
The increase of tourists’ flow is 11%. This figure confirms that this year may become the most successful and fulfill the program-maximum. The aim is to get 15 mln guests in 2019. Ali Yerlikay has informed that 42 persons from each 100 coming to Turkey, visit Istanbul.
The most number of guests has arrived from Germany. Their number is 395 thousand persons. Iran citizens are on the second place-277,4 thousand persons. 291 thousands of Russians are on the third place.
