Russian air carriers will get discount of up to 15% on fuel for domestic flights
Russian Tourism Agency and Aerofuels group of companies signed an agreement to provide discounts on fuel for Russian air carriers flying within the country, the Federal Tourism Agency website said on Friday. Memorandum of cooperation was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"Discounts will be provided, in particular, in the airports of Moscow (Domodedovo), St. Petersburg (Pulkovo), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Kurgan, and Izhevsk," the Russian Tourism Agency said. Aerofuels is ready to provide discounts up to 15% to airlines for domestic flights to tourist destinations.
According to the Federal Tourism Agency, the agreement will help to reduce the cost of flights within Russia. The goal is to improve the availability and attractiveness of domestic tourist destinations for Russian and foreign tourists.
