Russia was included into TOP-10 of incoming markets in Spain

The Russian tourist flow to Spain increased by 14.1% for 11 months. At present time the dynamics of early booking of tours to Spain for the next summer promises further growth. According to Frontur, which monitors data of tourism in Spain, from January to November the country was visited by almost 1.1 million Russian citizens. By this indicator Russia was the tenth largest incoming market. Only in November more than 52,000 tourists from Russia visited Spain, which is 25.7% higher than in November 2016. Among the leaders are the following countries: Great Britain (18 million tourists, + 7%), Germany (11.5 million people, + 6.1%) and France (10.7 million tourists, + 0.4%). Totally for 11 months of 2017, about 77.8 million foreign tourists visited Spain (+ 9.1% in comparison with the corresponding indicators of 2016). Thus, according to Frontur, Spain has already surpassed its record for 2016 (75.6 million foreign visitors). As tour operators in Russia previously reported, the demand for Spain at the stage of early booking is already 10 - 25% higher than the last year's figures. The depth of sales reaches September 2018.
