Russia: it is highly undesirable to travel abroad now
The head of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer rights protection and human well-being) Anna Popova called travel abroad as “extremely undesirable” and warned that upon returning to Russia it would be necessary for tourists to spend two weeks in quarantin at their own expense.
"It is extremely undesirable at present time to travel abroad. Today, about 100 thousand new cases are registered in the world every day. It’s important to understand: you will have to be isolated for two weeks at your own expense in order not to harm others," Popova said at a briefing in the Russian government.
“Therefore, while you plan travels, it is necessary to remember the new conditions in which the world lives. These new conditions dictate new rules, the violation of which, of course, is a very high risk to health,” she emphasized.
