“Prices for vacation in Turkey may grow in the next season by 10-15% because of the low margin of hoteliers at the current price level”, - reports the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) referring to the culture and tourism adviser of the Embassy of Turkey in Russian Federation Alpera Ozkan. "The question of prices is difficult. This is a matter of business. Today, prices for the Russian market are really low with high quality of service in Turkey. What the prices will be in 2018 the hoteliers are deciding. I do not exclude that some increase will occur", - he said. According to ATOR, in Turkish press appear the forecasts of Turkish hoteliers about price increase by 10-15% in the next season. Low business margins and rising costs for the maintenance of hotels push them to increase the cost of accommodation. A. Ozkan noted that both in the tourism department of Turkey and in the tourist industry are satisfied with the results of the summer season. "The season was very good, with high demand", - he said. Turkey expects to host a record 4 million tourists from Russia by the end of 2017 and in 2018 the country expects the growth of the Russian tourist flow up to 5 million.
