Compared to the summer of 2022, the average price for foreign holidays has increased in key outbound destinations from 15 to 50%.
Turkey occupies the first place in terms of the number of bookings among foreign destinations with a share of 67%.
Despite the difficulties with a low booking depth, the Turkish destination in summer is still the most accessible due to a wide flight program from Moscow and the regions. This already determines the leadership of Turkey among all outbound destinations in Russia.
The total number of applications for summer trips to Turkey compared to last year among the leading tour operators increased by an average of 40%. According to forecasts, about 3 million tourists from Russia can visit this country in summer. However, this is the most optimistic option: with such a low booking depth, everything can change during the summer.
The average duration of a vacation in Turkey for Russians this summer is 10 nights, the average tour price, according to tour operators, is $ 2 560 – 3 150 for two persons. More than two-thirds of tourists this summer visit Turkey with children.
The second place among foreign countries in summer belongs to Abkhazia, which, according to preliminary estimates, can be visited by up to 1 million tourists from Russia in summer. Average price for a tour is $ 1 070 with flight.
The third place belongs to Egypt: according to the expectations of the country's Tourism Department, more than 300 thousand tourists from Russia can come here over three summer months. This country has the best summer booking growth dynamics, but this is explained by the fact that there were practically no flight programs last year. The fourth place belongs to the UAE, which in the current conditions is becoming a year-round destination.
