Pegasus Airlines suspends flights from Istanbul to Nizhny Novgorod from January 12
“Since January 12 Turkish Pegasus Airlines suspends the scheduled flights from Istanbul to Nizhny Novgorod”, - according to the information of the on-line timetable of Strigino airport (Nizhny Novgorod). According to the schedule, in the autumn-winter period the airline carried out the flights on this route twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. The flights from Istanbul to Nizhny Novgorod and back, scheduled on Tuesday, were performed. However, according to the timetable of the airport's website, it is planned to resume flights also with frequency twice a week from March 27. Earlier it was reported that Pegasus Airlines started regular flights on the route Istanbul - Nizhny Novgorod at the end of June 2017. The flights were performed three times a week. In late August it was reported that Pegasus Airlines decided to carry out direct scheduled flights on the route Istanbul-Nizhny Novgorod in the autumn-winter schedule with a frequency twice a week. At the same time, another Turkish airline Atlasglobal in late May 2017 started regular flights on the route Istanbul - Nizhny Novgorod. The flights were performed by A321 airliner four times a week (on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). However, since June 23 Atlasglobal has stopped these flights. The airline explained this fact that it had not found enough passengers.
