PAC Group has canceled the flight Rostov - Rimini
The PAC Group tour operator completed the flight program from the Rostov Platov Airport in Rimini. The reason, according to tour operators, was the low load of the program. In addition, the location of the new airport reoriented part of the tourists, who previously flew from Rostov, to Krasnodar airport. The situation is deteriorated by quite high prices for holidays in Italy, as reported.
“The company decided to suspend the Rostov-on-Don-Rimini flight program from June 15 until the end of the summer season due to insufficient demand. Initially, we planned to carry out the program until the end of September,” the tour operator’s experts said.
The flight program started on April 27. The flights were operated once a week, on Saturdays, on the “wings” of Ural Airlines (Airbus A320, 156 seats). However, in fact, only a couple of flights were completed.
Travel agents add that demand is really low - there are difficulties with obtaining a visa and, most importantly, high prices. The average package cost 110-150 thousand Rubles (1,505 – 2,052 Euros) for a weekly tour for two persons on BB.
At the same time, PAC Group noted an increase in demand from Krasnodar, where the tourist flows were “reoriented”. The tourists will be reoriented there, who have already bought tours to Italy from Rostov. They are promised a free transfer. The company also stressed that this program is the only one that the tour operator terminates ahead-of-schedule.
