More than 270 hotels on the Antalya coast of Turkey are already ready to host Russian tourists, the list is constantly expanding, Marina Makarkova, the head of the public relations department of the tour operator Coral Travel, told.
"As of July 30, 262 hotels on the Antalya coast have already been opened and are ready to receive tourists. Of these, 37 in Side, 70 in Alanya, in Antalya - 30, in Kaleici (the historical center of Antalya) - 6, Kemer - 81, Belek - 29, Cirali - 3, Adrasan - 1, Kashe - 4, Olympos - one hotel. We are talking about hotels with which Coral Travel has agreements," she said.
In addition, seven hotels of the OTI Hotels & Resorts International chain have been opened, which the tour operator offers on an exclusive basis. Four more hotels of this chain will start working until August 10
Makarkova added that 68 hotels have not yet decided whether they are ready to operate in the 2020 season, the information is being updated.
Russia is preparing to resume international flights to Turkey in two stages. From August 1, the flights will be launched to Ankara and Istanbul, from August 10 - to the resorts of Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman.
On Wednesday, the executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze said that this week tours to Turkey are in high demand, tens of thousands of Russians are booking the tours, and the demand is increasing every day.
Tour operators have already launched charter programs to Turkish resorts ranging from daily flights to several flights a day.
