Ministry of Transport: the selling of "Rossia" airline may be after its achievement of profits

“The selling of "Rossia" airline is suitable only after its achievement of profit or at least breakeven result”, - said the Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov on Friday. "Of course, to sell loss-making company is inappropriate. First we need to achieve good results of a profitable operation, after which it will be possible to return to this issue", - the minister added. At the same time, he said, that the final decision of the government on this issue is not accepted. We do not plan to privatize “Aeroflot" airline till 2020, we need a company, which solve the state missions", - concluded the Minister. As reported in October, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has prepared proposals for the selling of "Rossia" airline and sent them to the government. Details of these proposals have never been published.
