Intourist plans to send 1.2 million Russian tourists for the rest in 2018
“Intourist Tour Operator expects to send 1.2 million Russians, including 100,000 tourists from Ufa city and Bashkortostan region, for the rest in Russia and abroad in 2018”, - said Alexander Musikhin the Deputy General Director of the company. According to him, Crimea, Sochi, Marmaris and Antalya (Turkey), Czech Republic, Greece, as well as St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Moscow will become the main recreation destinations for Bashkortostan residents. "Speaking about early booking, I want to say that this year’s indicators four times exceed the last year's figures. We see that our product is in demand, that our tourists trust us, I am confident that with such indicators we will fulfill the task", - noted the representative of Intourist. In general, the company plans to serve up to 1.2 million Russians in 2018. "In 2017 the company sent to rest a little less than 1 million people. Thus we plan that in 2018 the volume of tourist traffic will grow by 20-25%", - A. Mousikhin added.
