In the summer of 2018 the number of direct flights to Croatian resorts will increase
Following the results of 11 months of 2017, the Russian tourist flow to Croatia increased by 12%. In 2018 Croatia plans to increase these figures due to new flights: St. Petersburg will receive a new flight to Pula, and it is not excluded – Moscow will be connected with Split by summer charter. At present time the overall number of night’s stays of Russians in Croatia amounted 951 thousand (annual increase + 10%). "We hope that the dynamic of the Russian tourist traffic in 2018 will be even greater, because in the summer season there will be a new direct regular flight S7 from St. Petersburg to Pula", - says the Head of the representative office Raiko Ruzicka. In his opinion, this flight is extremely important, because of the lack of direct flights, St. Petersburg market is now "cut off from Croatia". According to his forecasts, in the season-2018 the flight program to Croatia from Russia promises to be broader than this year. As expected, only from Moscow three regular flights will fly in the summer season - to Pula, Split and Dubrovnik. At present, tour operators are also discussing a charter flight to Split (Central Dolmatia) "Thus, in addition to Kvarner and Istra, we will offer Russian tourists a vacation at the resorts of Central Dalmatia”, - added Raiko Ruzicka.
