In September Russians are on the second place by the number of night stays in Finnish hotels
“The Russians spent 43 thousand nights in Finnish hotels in September, taking the second place after tourists from Sweden, which is 9% more than in the same period of the last year”, - reported the statistical center of Finland.
The office notes that most number of tourists, who come to Finland are from Sweden, Russia and Germany. The Swedes spent almost 50 thousand nights in Finland this September, which is 5.5% more than in the same period of the last year, the Germans - almost 41 thousand (an increase of 26.9%). The Chinese are on the fourth place, Japanese – on the fifth place.
According to the statistical center, the number of night stays of foreign tourists in Finland increased in September 2017 by 11.3% against the same period of 2016 and amounted 471 thousand nights.
The average cost of the room is 100.73 Euros (earlier it was 97.96 Euros).
