In April Antalya was visited by 7.5 times more organized tourists from Russia

“In April the number of Russian tourists who visited Antalya in frame of package tours increased 7.5 times in comparison with the last year”, - reported the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Thursday with reference to the data of the Tourism council of Antalya Province. "In April of this year, Antalya hosted almost 443,000 organized foreign tourists, which is 48% more than the figures for the same period in 2016. The Russian tourist flow showed the greatest dynamics: the number of our compatriots increased by 7.5 times. In April, thanks to the flight programs of Russian tour operators, 152.5 thousand Russians have visited Antalya”, - informed ATOR. "Based on the growth rate of the number of foreign tourists, Antalya hopes that this year the region will be visited by 7.5 - 8 million tourists from abroad, and not less than half of these tourists will come from Russia", - added in ATOR.
