On May 18 Hong Kong Airlines opened a direct flight to Moscow's Vnukovo airport. Airplanes A330-300 fly to Moscow on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and to Hong Kong - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. From July 2010 to March 2012 the airline performed flights to Sheremetyevo airport. As W. Lia explained, the flight to Vnukovo is scheduled till October 27 (the end of the summer schedule). "The flight’s extending for the winter period will depend on the airplanes load", - added the President of the company. He also said that in the future Hong Kong Airlines also plans to fly to St. Petersburg. "Hong Kong Airlines is in talks to open flights to St. Petersburg, but there are no agreements yet", - he reported. In addition to Hong Kong Airline the direct flights from Moscow to Hong Kong are performed by Aeroflot on a daily basis. Also airplanes from Russian cities Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok fly to Hong Kong.
